Armando painted 1100 square feet for us as part of our remodel. We were blown away not only by the quality of the work but the service as well. Unlike some of the other painters I talked to, he did all the work himself rather than subcontracting. This was important to us because it shows a personal commitment to the quality. He was always on time, very communicative, and worked efficiently. In the middle of the project we realized that one of the colors we chose was not working. Even though he had already painted some of the trim with that color, he did not charge us any extra labor to change the color. He is very detail oriented, going to extra lengths to sand down our trim from previous coats and fix minor drywall imperfections. All of this at the same reasonable price that I was quoted by other larger companies where I’m sure I wouldn’t have gotten the same flexibility and service.

I was the owner of a successful painting company in Los Angeles for forty years. During that time our company painted every type of project except bridges and tanks. Having employed many painters over those years, I believe I know exactly what to look for in a professional painter and what is required to provide a great-looking, long-lasting, professional painting project. I have a specific process and a checklist that I follow when choosing a contractor and Monarch checked all the boxes. During my search for a contractor to paint the exterior of our home, I spoke with five contractors prior to selecting Monarch Painting for our project. Some showed up late for the estimate, or not at all. Monarch was professional from the start. Armondo was punctual for the estimate and asked great questions regarding our needs and expectations. The other contractors simply texted me a price for the job. Monarch provided a professional proposal outlining the entire preparation and painting process. We knew exactly what we were buying. Monarch was also licensed and insured which was important to me. When our job started, the masking, protection and preparation process were terrific. Every surface was properly prepared prior to painting. The paints were applied in a journeyman manner exactly as the contract stated. During the work, Armondo constantly communicated with us to ensure that we were happy.  Finally, Monarch left the job completely clean. Except for a new paint job, you would not have known they were here. I believe Monarch provided true value for the money that we spent on our most valuable asset. Armando helped me paint my Garage door. The color was clearly wearing out. Armando helped to give me a quick quote. Based on HOA recommendation I needed a sample paint done first. Armando helped me out with doing the sample paint on time and then after approval he did the whole Garage door. The paint he used also was high quality. The quality was top-notch — super clean, with great attention to detail. He was really easy to work with, good communication and showed up on time. My next-door neighbor referred me to Monarch Painting as we just had our fences repaired and needed a quality paint/stain job to preserve them. Given that the fence was such a huge surface area surrounding our entire property, it was critical we nailed both the color and the products used. The results were nothing short of amazing! Our property was transformed in an instant adding value and a rich aesthetic complementing our curbside appeal and backyard living space.
